14. Siddhartha Bansal in his latest collection, The Joy Forecast, reimagines the raincoat as a fashion statement

The centrepiece is a full-length raincoat that folds down into a cropped bomber jacket: one silhouette, three ways to wear it. Long and buttoned for a soaked commute. Folded back for something closer to a trench. Open, as a travel layer between an airport terminal and a taxi queue. The craft runs as deep as the concept. A floating back yoke hides breathable mesh ventilation. Five pockets sit within an adjustable construction. The waterproof fabric stays light enough to pack, and Bansal’s signature prints appear across technical cloth he has rarely worked with before: the same hand you would recognise from his eveningwear, now tested against something far more unforgiving than a runway.
