7 New Restaurants In Delhi You Can’t Miss This Monsoon

Rainy skies, spicy bites, and cosy corners—Delhi’s newest restaurants and menus are serving major monsoon energy.

Monsoon has officially arrived in Delhi and with it, a craving for comfort, warmth, and real delicious food. Sure, the traffic’s a nightmare and your umbrella’s probably flipped inside out by now, but there’s something deliciously nostalgic about the rains. It’s the perfect excuse to seek out steamy ramen, smoky kebabs, and long, boozy brunches in beautiful new spaces. And if you’re anything like me, the first raindrop doesn’t hit the ground before your brain immediately goes, “Okay, but where are we eating?”

From fire-kissed yakitori in Gurgaon to the much-trending matcha in Safdarjung, here are seven new restaurants in Delhi NCR to make the best of the monsoon season!

Where to Eat in Delhi: 7 Best Restaurants to Visit This Monsoon Season

1. Indy by Qla

Indy by Qla is a celebration of India's diverse culinary heritage, reimagined for the modern palate. Helmed by Chef Manish Kumar, the menu draws inspiration from regions like Punjab, Amritsar, and Jammu & Kashmir. Expect refined plates like Nadru Galouti served with chunda pickle foam and mint chutney on airy sheermal, the punchy Kori Sukka—pan-fried chicken tempered with curry leaves and paired with murukku—and the decadent Braised Lamb Shank with Kashmiri Kulcha. Don’t miss the delicate Indian baklava for a sweet finish. Come nightfall, the space transforms with its "after-hours" concept—spotlighting homegrown spirits and craft labels that are proudly putting India on the global beverage map.

2. Ikk Punjab

The newest outlet of Ikk Panjab in Gurgaon not only promises to put Punjab on a plate but also gives you the reminder of what it feels like to step into an ancestral pre-partition house in Punjab. The space has a layout of a cosy living room and is accented with vintage heirloom elements and the Trophy Bar. Founders Deepika and Rajan Sethi have designed the food as a tribute to their forefathers. Highlights from the menu include Gosht Beliram, a dish from Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s court, Sarso da Saag and Makki di Roti and Karachi Koyla Kadhai. A must-try is the Lahori Chikkad Cholle and the Butter Chicken Samosa. For desserts try the creamy kheer, delicate sevaiyaan, and slow-cooked phirni.

3. Naarma

If you're someone who appreciates dining in places that appreciate art, Naarma, a new fine dining restaurant in Delhi, should be on your radar. Inspired by the duality of fire and water, the space is thoughtfully divided into distinct zones—an open-air garden dining area, an indoor section featuring a dramatic rose installation, and a private dining room adorned with abstract art. The menu blends Japanese and European cuisines, featuring sushi like the Otoro Aburi and house-special Naarma Roll, alongside Italian-inspired plates such as Spaghetti Salsa Rossa with scamorza fondue. Standout mains include Chilean Sea Bass, Golden Fried Prawns, and Chicken Yaki Tori skewers, with plenty of well-executed vegetarian options like Asparagus Carpaccio and Charred Broccoli. The bar menu is equally impressive, ideal for cocktail lovers and weekend brunchers alike.

4. Congo

Savour the essence of the jungles and rainforests of Congo at this newly opened evocative restaurant and bar in Gurgaon.  You can savour meals like the Jhol Curry Malabari Chicken, the Wild Mushroom and Truffle Kulcha, the Lamb Rara Risotto, and the Prawn and Truffle Har gau. The cocktail program is no less expressive. Tusker’s Tonic cools with cucumber juice, gin, ginger beer, and a dash of black pepper, while the Gauteng Groove combines gin, pineapple juice, and Indian spices for a bright, herbaceous drink. Nairobi Nectar, a tropical concoction of rum, passionfruit, and African honey, offers a bright and flowery finish for those seeking something sweeter.

5. Addonis Delhi

Addonis isn’t just another pretty plate—conceptualised by Riccardo Addoni, the culinary hotspot blends world cuisine with high-style design and cocktail culture. Start your evening at The Long Bar, where moody lighting meets Japanese bar bites (the Prawns Plancha are a buttery dream) and cocktails like the spicy Heatwave or berry-forward Scarlet Tranquillity are a must-try. Head downstairs for a dinner where Chef Megha Kohli has curated a multi-cuisine restaurant that boasts a wide range of flavours, offering Pan-Asian, Italian, Mughlai, and Goan dishes. The Comforting Pomodoro pasta, bold carom-marinated fish kebabs, and Butter Chicken Burrata keep things interesting. And whatever you do, don’t skip the San Sebastian cheesecake.

6. Hinoki Slow Bar

Tucked inside Safdarjung Enclave, this Japanese-inspired slow bar is a deeply intentional space where each cup of coffee or matcha is brewed slowly, mindfully, and entirely by hand. The menu highlights Indian-grown beans, while ceremonial matcha, hojicha lattes, and house-made kombucha nod to Japanese café culture. A rotating selection of baked goods, matcha blondies, miso-chocolate cookies, and yuzu-drizzled cakes keeps things interesting. The interiors are as measured as the menu—modest, warm, and scattered with manga, Shakespeare, and board games.

Where: Humayunpur, New Delhi

7.Kioki

When the skies turn grey and the rain begins to fall, few things comfort like a steaming bowl of Chasu Ramen or skewers of smoky yakitori straight from the robata grill. This sleek izakaya channels the energy of Tokyo after dark, complete with Toyosu-grade sashimi, flickering robata flames, and artful mocktails. Highlights include the intensely flavourful Salmon Tataki, the juicy Chicken Tsukune yakitori, and the richly textured no-soup mazemen ramen. For the adventurous palate, the eggplant unagi roll and acevichado offer playful, umami-packed surprises. And to close the meal on a high, the nama chocolate and yuzu-glazed stick cheesecake are indulgent yet precise—just like everything else at Kioki.
