1. FOREST ESSENTIALS Redefines Sustainable Luxury in Partnership with IHCL

Forest Essentials partners with Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) to unveil a pioneering sustainability initiative to significantly reduce plastic waste. The collaboration introduces refillable, biodegradable ceramic dispensers and bulk liquid amenities across all Taj properties, resulting in a 61% reduction in plastic consumption. The initiative also empowers the local community by employing local women in Uttarakhand in soap, ubtan, and oil production. A hero product in this initiative is the Aloe Vera & Neem blend. In addition to this, five bespoke blends have been crafted for Taj’s historic palaces.
2. Jordan Tourism Board Launches a Brand Film Crafted for the Indian Market
The Jordan Tourism Board announced the launch of its new brand film, Timeless Treasures, Yaadein Forever!, to capture the imagination of Indian travellers. Highlighting five core pillars, namely, Leisure, Luxury, History, Gastronomy and Adventure. The narrative presents Jordan as a multidimensional destination. The narrative is brought to life through the journey of three Indian travellers: prominent influencers Jahanvi Jain and Anmol Yadav, alongside travel enthusiast Abhijit Singh, who embark on a trip across Jordan. Their journey begins at Petra and the iconic Treasury and then moves to Jordan’s rich culinary traditions and the historic atmosphere of Amman. The film also covers the sacred mosaic-filled city of Madaba, the surreal deserts of Wadi Rum, the azure coastline of Aqaba and the Dead Sea, where natural healing meets luxury in moments of serenity.
3. Wynn Al Marjan Island Debuts Enclave: A Destination Within a Destination

The luggage and bags come in a limited-edition blue inspired by Gap’s iconic denim, while the apparel is offered in a range of BÉIS’s signature colourways: beige, black and the cult-favourite Berry Pink. 10. Japanese violinist Mika Nishimura Helms a Mentorship Camp for Children in Mumbai

Japanese violinist and educator Mika Nishimura, along with Spanish educator Katheryn Murillo of the Real Madrid Foundation, is bringing Elevate 2025 (led by Sound Of Soul) to Tata Theatre, NCPA. From August 11th to 17th, 2025, Elevate will host over 140 children and will witness a gathering of experienced mentors from all across the world, including Santiago Ozlate, conductor, El Sistema (Cyprus); Guillermo Díaz, wellness educator and athlete, Real Madrid Foundation (Spain); Nitin Chandan, fitness instructor and movement coach (India); and Yurri, nutritionist and wellness mentor (Japan).
